An elderly Fujian man has earned the hard-won approval of netizens after being lavishly dressed up by his grandson for a photoshoot around the city of Xiamen.
After the pics were posted on Weibo, netizens banded together and pronounced the grandfather, without a doubt, the “coolest” old dude in China.
In reality the guy’s a gardener and vegetable farmer, who just happens to be able to pull off haute couture.
Based in Xiamen, the photographer goes by the name of XiaoYiJeiXi. Purportedly, he decided to treat his 85-year-old grandfather to a photoshoot and tour of the city after being inspired by trendy senior citizens abroad. His choice of subject is a refreshing deviation from the usual airbrushed youths.
