The World’s Most Stylish Stuff

This Week

Epaulet Combat Boots

Winter may bring a sack of bad vibes – messed up hair, frozen fingers, the inability to be both warm enough outside and cool enough inside – but it does have some upside.

Such as, the fact you get to break out your heavy duty boots. When the weather gets rough, these Epaulet combat boots are more than tough enough, since they’re built from Couro Como steerhide tanned for a month, making them at once supple and so anything-proof you’ll be hoping it snows.

Available at Epaulet, priced £205.

Qasimi Shariar Bomber Jacket

Qasimi has taken inspiration from the military for its new False Flags collection. In keeping with the eponymous creative director’s architecture studies, the SS16 range is all sharp lines and exquisite construction that brings tailoring techniques to sportswear.

The brand’s website has been overhauled this season, which is also Qasimi’s return after an extended sabbatical. Best welcome him back by picking up this versatile bomber from the new webstore.

Available at qasimi.com, priced £715.

Linde Werdelin Oktopus Moon Gold 3DTP Carbon Watch

British-Danish brand Linde Werdelin has a bit of a thing for materials. Its recent Oktopus Moonlite was crafted from a compound that reflected light in a way that echoed its namesake’s camouflage and this new spin boasts a bevel made from layered carbon fibre, to give an illusion of depth.

And unlike most moonphases, this one actually has a function – it lets the wear pinpoint the best dates for night dives. A niche function, admittedly.

Available at Linde Werdelin, priced £24,150.

Snugs Earphones

It’s about now that new year’s resolutioners are realising that the kit they thought would suffice for their travails in gym, or around park, aren’t up to scratch. While shin splints from substandard trainers are best fixed by a trip to Nike, that annoying habit your earphones have of slipping out mid-squat can be fixed from your desk.

If, that is, you summon the experts from Snugs, who’ll take a cast of your ear then produce a pair of bespoke earphones that will stay in, and stay comfortable, no matter how hard you exert yourself. The only issue is annoying other gym-goers when you can’t hear how loud you grunt.

Available at Snugs Earphones, priced £159.

Ami Lemon Embroidered Cotton Jersey Sweatshirt

What’s that saying? When life gives you lemons, emblazon them on a loopback sweatshirt in Ami’s signature, figure-flattering cut?

Well, perhaps not. But not only will this crew neck’s flocked fruit lend your look a shot of texture and colour, it also counts as one of your five a day. Probably.

Available at Mr Porter, priced £170.

Made Nova Nesting Side Tables in Brass

If your coffee still rests on the same table you salvaged at university, it’s time for a cost-effective upgrade.

Made’s brass nesting tables are a sight sleeker than anything with beer bottle stains on, and you get three for the price of one, which should please the penny-pinching student that still resides inside you.

Available at Made, priced £229.

Well, you never know.

MINI Gentleman’s Collection

Most automotive tie-ins are unwearable, so branded they look like F1 overalls. But MINI has wisely taken a subtler tack, tapping up six Italian artisans to produce exclusive products for its new Gentleman’s Collection, all inspired by the new Mini Clubman.

From milliner SuperDuper’s dapper felt hat, which draws on the car’s leather upholstery, to TYG’s rose-tinted sunglasses and Alberto Premi’s premium boots, it’s a range that outshines the less sartorial offerings of most car marks. All best accessorised with a MINI Clubman, of course.

Available at Pitti Uomo at the Park Lane dealership, prices vary.
